The Main House at our lodging near Yosemite, Yosemite Springs, is 5,000 square feet, featuring double porches, four guest rooms, a recreational room with a billboard table, library and gift shop. There is also a communal area featuring a large river rock fireplace, a dining room, spa style bathrooms and the main reception office.
All guests of Yosemite Springs check in and out at the Main House and are welcome to browse the gift shop. However the billiard table, library and spa style bathrooms are reserved only for guests of the Main House.
Local calls and long distance calls (only with calling card or credit card) can be made by all guests in the reception area.
The Great Room
The Great Room, with its cathedral ceiling, hardwood floors, and river rock fireplace is a comfortable gathering spot for reading, playing games, or conversation. The adjacent dining room offers spacious seating and breakfast is served on antique china and glassware. When the weather is pleasant the front deck also offers a serene environment for leisurely outdoor dining.
The Porch
The porch wraps around one third of the top story of The Main House. Guests are welcome to the take meals out here, relax with a book, do some bird watching, or simply sit and do nothing on the porch at any time during the day.
The Ponderosa Room
The Ponderosa Room is the largest space in The Main House. Occupying half of the ground floor, the Billiard Room features a library housing over 3,000 volumes with titles ranging in genre from best selling mystery novels to nature guides to such literary classics as the Hardy Boys series. However, the main feature of the Billiard Room is the exquisite tournament quality billiard table in the center of the room where guests are encouraged to practice their skills with the ball and cue.
Reception
Guests are received in the office on the bottom floor. For guests of The Main House and the Airstream bungalows luggage will be taken on the guests respective rooms. Additionally, while lodging near Yosemite National Park at Yosemite Sprigns guests wishing to make long distance calls with calling or credit card can do so at the reception desk.
